History on Henry Ford.

The Ford company has been one of the best auto companies since 1903 established in Detroit, MI.

Henry Ford and 12 others founded and started Ford Motor company. Henry Ford and his friends invested $28,000 to start the company and sold their first car on June 16, 1903.

Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 and died at 83 years old on April 7, 1947. Henry, since 12 years old was very interested in mechanics and made his first steam engine when he was 15.

Later in his life in 1893 he made his first gasoline powered engine. The one cylinder engine came to life on a wooden table in his house. This is the man that started one of the first ever automobile companies.

• The first car Henry ever made only made 4 Horsepower.
• The model T was his most popular car to sell.
• It made about 60,000,000 dollars when it came out (worth 2,056,310,869 in today’s money)
